Abuse is a crime. Remember that. 

There is legal action you can take. The legal system exists to help you. Once you decide to take legal action, here's some information to help you out.

There are several routes you can take when using the legal system to protect you. You can file for an injunction from the abuser, you can press criminal charges against the abuse, and/or you can sue the abuser for damages. Talk with a parent or trusted adult about the course of action you should take.
